4 Compulsory Preparation for Facing Power Outages

Entering the rainy season, there are frequent power cuts in several places. Either because of short circuit or damage to the electrical substation. No one can guess how long the power outage will last check that. Sometimes it’s only for a while, sometimes it can be all day. For that, there is nothing wrong if you prepare yourself for a power outage, which can happen at any time. Furthermore, perhaps you need to call the trusted electrician singapore as well.

Here are some things that you can prepare so that the power outage does not disturb your activities too much:

1. Keep important telephone numbers for emergencies

For security and emergency reasons, make sure you keep important telephone numbers, such as PLN 123 customer service, the nearest police station, the nearest hospital, and the closest person you will contact if something happens. Save all the numbers on your mobile. Also note and save the telephone numbers in a place that is easily accessible, both at home and in the office.

2. Complete your home with emergency lights and flashlights

Some emergency lights will immediately turn on when the electricity goes out. Make sure the battery is always in full condition, and keep a few spare batteries for your flashlight. Charge emergency lights after being used for a long time. And check regularly if the lamp is not used for a long time.

3. Provide candles and matches in an easily accessible place

Use candles if needed, for example when the emergency and flashlight lights are problematic or need additional lighting. Place the candle in a glass or metal bowl, to avoid the danger of fire, and do not move to bed before making sure the candle has been extinguished. Don’t forget to prepare matches for the same place. Inform the whole family where the candles and matches are located, and make sure no one family member moves.

4. Utilize the flashlight application on the mobile

For new types of cell phones, they are generally equipped with a flashlight feature. This will make it easier for you when the lights go out, just press the button on the cellphone, and the flashlight will turn on. However, if yours doesn’t have any, just try to download it from a trusted app provider platform.
