First, you can simply maintain your intake of water. You have to drink more water regularly. Water helps in cleansing the rest of the metabolism to keep your metabolism in good shape. Water can also help you feel fuller so that you need to drink at least two liters of water every day or more if you are active, or live in hot climates. You can also attempt to drink purified water. Regular mineral water often includes fluoride and chlorine which reduces the health advantages of drinking water.

Then, you can also easily maintain your health by sleeping well every night. Adults should sleep between 7 and 9 hours each day, while school-aged children should sleep between 10 and 11 hours each day. One obvious way is very important to improve the quality of sleep is sleeping in total darkness, because the slightest light can interfere with chemical processes that tell you to rest. If you cannot remove the light in the room, use a blindfold. Another good way to improve your sleep quality is to exercise.

Sleep is also a good way to prevent overeating. A study by The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows that men who sleep only 4 hours consume an average of 500 calories more than they do after sleeping for 8 hours.
